This page outlines the planned accomodation for the IPD Summer School sessions taking place in Malta and Germany. Taking into consideration the normally limited budgets available to postgraduate students, great care has been taken by the organizers to carefully select accommodation that provides good value for money both in Malta and Magdeburg.

The first session will take place in the town of Rabat situated on the Mediterranean island of Malta. This first session of IPDISS will be hosted at the Hostel within the Archibishop's Seminary. Participants will be booked for their accommodation in the Seminary by the hosts once their registration fee is paid and arrival/departure dates are made known.

Malta has daily flights from major European airports including London Heathrow, Gatwick, Munich, Frankfurt, Milan & Rome. So should you need to have a connecting fligth, ask your travel agent to check these connecting airports. In addition, a number of low cost airlines such has Easyjet and Ryanair operate to Malta from a number of airports (eg Dublin, Belfast, Luton, Krakow etc.) - so please check with your travel agent accordingly.

The second week taking place in September will be held in the German city of Weinheim. The event will take place in the Hotel Watzenhof. Participants will be booked for their accommodation in the hotel in single rooms by the hosts once their registration fee is paid and arrival/departure dates are made known.

Weinheim (in the Southwestern part of Germany, close to Heidelberg and Mannheim, at the border of the Odenwald forest) is well connected with ICE and IC trains linking all bigger German cities and all major German airports every hour. Airport in the vicinity is Frankfurt (Main) International Airport.
