Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism and world understanding.
PURPOSES:
To give recognition to outstanding women educators.
To build a fraternal fellowship among women in the field of education which will add to their effectiveness in the promotion of excellence in education.
To promote high standards of education and thereby strengthen the status and advancement of the education profession.
To promote educational and charitable projects and activities, to sponsor scholarships, to further and maintain worthy standards in the field of education and to cooperate with worthy community programs relating to education and charities.
To contribute to world understanding, goodwill, and peace through an international fellowship of women educators united in the ideals of education.

2020-2022 Biennium
1. Increase membership
2. Strengthen our bonds by visiting each chapter for a regular meeting throughout the year.
3. Lay the foundations for a new chapter or start one
Membership Goals 2020-2021

GOAL 1
Iowa will increase membership by a minimum of one new member in each chapter during the 2020-2022 biennium. Chapters need to replace resigned members and Omega members yearly.
GOAL 2
Iowa will retain the current 19 existing chapters in 2020-2022 biennium.
GOAL 3
Iowa will promote membership recognition in 2020-2022 biennium
GOAL 4
Iowa VP for Membership will train chapter member teams on the MDM Manual in 2020-2022 based on information on the CNA reports.
GOAL 5
Iowa Executive Board will work with local Alpha Delta Kappa chapters near colleges and universities in an ongoing effort to develop Collegiate Clubs in Iowa during the 2020-2022 biennium.
