TurkWorld: Learn Turkish (“TurkWorld,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Turkish language-learning application designed to help users learn Turkish vocabulary, phrases, pronunciation, flashcards, quizzes, conversations, stories, and Medical Turkish.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information on the iOS version distributed through the Apple App Store and TestFlight.
TurkWorld is designed to work primarily offline.
The App does not require users to create an account, register, or sign in. We do not operate our own user account system, and we do not collect, store, sell, or transmit users’ personal learning data to our own servers.
We do not ask users to provide:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Physical address
Precise location
Personal identification documents
Health information
Photos, videos, or contacts
We do not track users for advertising purposes.
Some information may be stored locally on the user’s device to improve the learning experience. This may include:
Saved or favorite words
App language preference
Theme preference
Learning progress
Quiz progress or quiz results stored locally
Premium access status after a successful Apple App Store purchase or restore
Dismissed in-app announcements, if available
This information remains on the user’s device and is not uploaded to our own servers.
Users may remove local app data by clearing the App data where available, deleting the App, or reinstalling the App.
TurkWorld may offer premium access through Apple In-App Purchase.
Premium access may be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks premium content, subject to Apple App Store account eligibility and applicable Apple policies.
All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store users’ payment card details, bank information, billing credentials, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials.
Apple may provide the App with purchase status information, transaction information, or purchase confirmation data so that premium access can be unlocked, restored, or verified on the user’s device.
After a successful purchase or restore, the App may store premium access status locally on the device to allow access to unlocked content. When internet access is available, the App may use Apple App Store services to validate or restore purchase status.
Refund requests for iOS purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. If users need help with a purchase-related issue, they may contact Apple Support or contact us for general assistance.
Payment processing and purchase management are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
TurkWorld may include local audio files for some words, phrases, conversations, or stories.
The App may also use the device’s built-in text-to-speech functionality to help users hear Turkish pronunciation or story text. Depending on the user’s device and settings, text-to-speech may be provided by Apple system services or other speech functionality available on the device. Their own privacy practices may apply.
TurkWorld does not upload users’ learning activity to our own servers for pronunciation or audio playback.
The App may allow users to copy visible words or phrases by long pressing on them.
When a user chooses to copy text, the selected visible text is placed on the device clipboard. TurkWorld does not use this feature to collect or transmit clipboard content to our own servers.
Users should avoid copying sensitive personal information into any app clipboard.
The App may use internet access for limited functions, including:
Validating or restoring Apple App Store purchases
Opening the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Support page, or other external links in a browser
Opening the App Store page when available and when the user chooses to rate or review the App
Compatibility with standard Apple App Store and iOS services
The App does not use internet access to upload users’ personal learning activity to our own servers.

When users open external links, they may leave the App and interact with third-party services such as Apple, the App Store, or a web browser. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
TurkWorld is intended for general educational use.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through support communication, please contact us so that we can address the issue.
We do not sell personal data.
We do not share users’ personal learning data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Apple may process purchase-related information when a user makes, restores, or manages an App Store purchase.
Because TurkWorld does not operate a user account system or store personal learning data on our own servers, most learning activity remains locally on the user’s device.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their own device.
TurkWorld is provided for personal learning use only.
Unauthorized copying, sharing, redistribution, resale, or distribution of the TurkWorld app or its premium content is strictly prohibited.
Any attempt to bypass payment, licensing, purchase verification, or premium access systems is not allowed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
