I am currently a Postdoc at the University of Edinburgh working with David Jordan supported by the Simons Collaboration on Global Categorical Symmetries. I received my PhD in mathematics from the University of Hamburg in 2022 under the supervision of Ingo Runkel.
My research interests lie in algebraic structures which appear in low-dimensional topology, particularly in TQFTs, as well as the role of TQFTs and defects in holography. In particular, I am working on questions related to:
skein theory
defects in TQFTs
mapping class group representations
