Our team has been developing the development and implementation of the Internet of Maritime Things (IoMT) platform that supports long-range and high-rate communication for remote and online marine water quality monitoring. The proposed IoMT platform consists of IoMT device, multi-protocol gateway, and automatic beam adjustment system of directional antennas, control center on land.
2. Future maritime wireless network technologies: 차세대 해양 무선통신 원천 기술 개발
Our team has been developing future maritime wireless networks with new wireless communication technologies (e.g., Machine Learning(ML)-based Communication, Drone Communication, Cloud-Radio Access Network(C-RAN)-based Communication, etc) for the extension of communication range, the real-time control of marine applications, and big-data transmission.
3. Simultaneous wireless information & power transfer (SWIPT) for IoMT: 해양 IoT를 위한 무선 정보/전력 동시 전송 기술 개발
Our team has been developing Machine Learning (ML)-based distributed wireless information and power transfer (i.e., simultaneous wireless information and power transfer, SWIPT) techniques to guarantee massive connectivity of devices on the sea and underwater for realization of IoMT.
