Yujae Song received the Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Korea, in 2016. He was a Visiting Scholar in communication systems from KTH royal institute of technology, Sweden, in 2015.
Since 2016, he is a senior researcher with the Maritime ICT R&D Center at Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST). Also, he is an adjunct professor in department of convergence study on the ocean and science and technology (OST) of Korea Maritime and Ocean University since 2018 and a professor in Korea university of science and technology (UST) since 2021.
His research interests include design, analysis, and optimization of various wireless communication systems including 5G, maritime/underwater, and smart grid communications.

Yongjae Kim received the B.S. degree (summa cum laude) in electronics engineering from Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2013, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2015 and 2019, respectively.
He was a senior researcher with Korea-Russia Innovation Center in Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), Incheon, South Korea, from August 2019 to March 2020. He is currently a senior researcher with Maritime ICT R&D Center in Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST).
His research interests include radio resource management, interference management, maritime wireless communications, simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT), machine learning, and deep reinforcement learning.
