About the Practice
As Amber Jayanti suggests: "It works because you want it to work!"
Cards are a tool for accessing our unconscious mind.
The vivid imagery and archetypal symbols in the cards act as bridges between conscious and unconscious realms, allowing hidden knowledge to surface. Through mechanisms such as projection, reflection, and Carl Jung's concept of synchronicity, cartomancy taps into the vast repository of information, memories, and intuitions stored in our unconscious. The seemingly uncanny alignment of drawn cards with the seeker’s situation creates a sense of meaningful coincidence, fostering connection and relevance. Ultimately, cartomancy serves as a mirror to our inner selves, facilitating self-reflection and insight.
Cartomancy uses cards to provide insights into different areas of life, helping you make sense of your choices and guiding you toward a better tomorrow. The cards act like a mirror, they reflect what’s really going on beneath the surface, showing you truths you might not see clearly on your own.
Sometimes we think we understand a situation, but our hopes or fears can cloud our perception. The cards help cut through that confusion by showing where your perspective might not align with reality. When what you expect to see in a card matches what appears, it confirms your understanding. But if the cards show something unexpected, that’s a sign to pause and look deeper, it’s often where the most valuable insight lies.
About the Service
For your first cartomancy reading, here are a few key points to keep in mind:
Understand the unique approach of your chosen Practitioner.
Each Practitioner has a different style, approach and methodology. For instance, some may identify as psychics, while others are intuitive readers or communicate with entities, spirits, or ancestors. Familiarizing yourself with their specific guidelines will help you approach the session with realistic expectations.
It is crucial you review the practitioner's:
Professional profile ("About me" page)
Specific methodologies and techniques used
Be Open-Minded:
Approach the reading with an open heart and mind. Interpretations may vary, and it’s important to reflect on how the messages resonate with you.
Co-creation:
You are an integral part of working with the cards. The effectiveness of the reading session is significantly influenced by your openness and willingness to engage with the process.
Think of a reading as a symphony: each card has multiple meanings, shaped by the question you ask, the other cards around it, and its position in the spread. The Practitioner’s intuition and your reactions also help shape the overall message.
Maintain Realistic Expectations.
Remember that cartomancy is a tool for insight and self-reflection, not fortune-telling. Don't expect the cards to solve all your problems or predict exact outcomes.
Above all, enjoy your reading experience! I hope it brings you valuable insights.
Step #1: Submit your question (via form for written questions, Discord server, or via my Calendly for 1-1).
During the reading, we'll explore ONE question about a topic such as love, job, career, finances, and spiritual journey.
Step #2: Receive your reading.
You will receive your reading during our one-on-one session or through email or Discord, depending on the format you initially selected.
I strive to deliver your reading as promptly as possible, typically within 3 to 10 days from your request. However, your experience and the quality of your reading are my top priorities. I prefer to take the time needed to ensure you receive a thoughtful and meaningful reading, rather than rushing the process.
Step #3: Share your Feedback.
In exchange for your reading, I kindly ask for your constructive feedback. This helps me improve and grow in my practice. This is part of the deal!.
I will provide a feedback form for you to fill out, unless your reading was conducted via Discord, in which case feedback may be submitted through that platform.
Step #4: Enjoy and Reflect.
Take your time to absorb the insights and guidance provided in your reading. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification on your reading.
Step #5: Come back for more.
After you’re provided feedback, you can request a new reading in 15 days. This waiting period also applies to any follow-up questions or requests to “throw a few extra cards”, as both instances are considered new requests.
Exception for Discord Readings: For readings conducted within Discord servers, all requests and waiting periods follow the established rules and agreements of the specific server rather than my usual policy.
✅ As a general guideline, good questions for a tarot reading are typically:
Open, allowing space for insight and exploration. Open questions often start with “What,” “Why,” or “How.”
Self-focused, centered on your own experiences or actions.
Time-specific, relating to a particular timeframe or period.
Take responsibility, focusing on what you can influence or control.
🚫 Avoid asking about:
Close-ended questions that yield yes/no answers (e.g., “Will I pass my exam?”)
Predictive questions seeking exact outcomes (e.g. "When will I meet the love of my life?")
Third-party questions about others without their consent (e.g. “Will my ex contact me?”)
Health (e.g., pregnancy) and legal matters.

Cartomancy isn’t about predicting a fixed future, it’s more like taking a snapshot of your current energy. Each card reflects an archetypal energy that shows what’s happening in and around you at the moment of the reading. Together, the cards help you notice the patterns shaping your life right now: your thoughts, your choices, and the directions they’re pointing.
Think of it like a weather forecast or a photograph. On one hand, a reading is a snapshot, it captures the “climate” of your situation at a specific moment in time. But just like a photo freezes only one instant while life keeps moving, your energy and circumstances naturally shift and evolve.
On the other hand, cartomancy can work a bit like a weather forecast. A skilled meteorologist looks at current conditions to predict probable patterns, and in the same way, the cards can highlight potential outcomes based on your present choices and behaviors. They don’t lock you into one path; they simply show what’s most likely if things continue as they are.
And here’s the beautiful part: the reading itself can spark change. By becoming more aware of the patterns influencing you, you start to interact with them more consciously, and that awareness opens the door for new directions. Cartomancy doesn’t tell you what will happen; it helps you see yourself more clearly, so you can help shape what comes next.
Every reader has their own approach and ethical boundaries. In my practice, I choose not to do third-party readings (that is, readings about someone who isn’t present or hasn’t given consent).
For me, this is an ethical choice, it’s about honoring another person’s privacy and autonomy, and focusing the reading on energies that you can personally engage with and influence.
I’ve found that the most meaningful insights come when the person being read is actively participating. Your presence and energy shape the reading, allowing it to reflect your experience more clearly and accurately. Without that exchange, the message can lose its depth and become less reliable.
That said, every reader works differently, and that’s OK. Some are comfortable reading about others and I fully respect that. This is simply how I read, and what keeps me aligned with my own values and style.
My goal is always to keep your reading centered around you, your growth, choices, and empowerment.
