1. Summary

Intuition Journal is designed to be local-first: your readings, cards, settings, and history are stored on your device, not on our servers. We do not run accounts and we do not sell your personal information. The main data sharing that happens is with the app store, to process purchases, and with Google AdMob to show ads in the free version (see section 4).

2. Data stored on your device (not collected by us)

The following stay on your device and are not transmitted to us:

- The questions you enter and the readings/outcomes you save (your History).

- Cards, decks, and dowsing-chart configurations you create or edit.

- App settings and preferences.

If you use the in-app "Save to phone" backup, an export file is written to the location you choose (e.g. Files, Drive) — that copy is under your control, not ours. Deleting the app removes on-device data; exported backups remain wherever you saved them.

3. Purchases (subscriptions and one-time unlocks)

When you buy a subscription or a one-time unlock, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and validated through RevenueCat, Inc., our purchase-management provider. We (and RevenueCat) receive purchase-related data such as the product purchased, purchase/renewal/expiry status, a randomly generated app-user identifier, country, and device/platform information — used to unlock features you paid for, restore purchases, and prevent fraud. We do not receive your full payment card details.

- RevenueCat privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

- Apple and Google process payments under their own privacy policies.

4. Advertising

The free version of Intuition Journal shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do this, the AdMob SDK collects and processes limited data from your device, including your device's advertising ID, general device and app information, approximate location inferred from your IP address, and interaction with the ads shown. This data is processed by Google, not stored on our servers, and is used to select and measure ads and to detect invalid activity.

- Google's advertising privacy information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

- How Google uses data from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Your choices:

- In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, through Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time from the app.

- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings.

- Buying Pro, Unlock Pro, or Remove ads turns advertising off entirely. Once ads are off, the AdMob SDK no longer requests ads.

Readings, questions, notes, and history are never shared with advertisers. They stay on your device.

5. Analytics and crash reporting

We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services.

6. What we do NOT do

- We do not require an account or ask for your name, email, or address to use the app.

- We do not sell your personal information.

- We do not use Intuition Journal to provide medical, health, or other professional advice, and we do not collect health records.

7. Children

Intuition Journal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

8. Your choices and rights

- Purchases: manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account.

- On-device data: clear it from the app's restore/settings options, or by deleting the app.

- EEA/UK (GDPR): you have rights to access, correct, delete, and object to processing; our legal basis is contract (providing the features you request). Contact us to exercise these rights.

- California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined; you may contact us about your rights.

9. Data retention and security

On-device data persists until you delete it or the app. Purchase records are retained by the app stores and RevenueCat per their policies and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. We use reasonable technical measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International transfers

Service providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, under their own safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or listing.
