Intuition — Disclaimer text
The goal is simple and consistent: position Intuition as a tool for spiritual reflection, intuition practice, and entertainment — never as medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice, and never as something that diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any condition.
1. General app disclaimer
Where: show once on first launch (a dismissible "I understand" sheet) and keep it permanently reachable under Info / Settings → About.
Please read before you begin. Intuition is a tool for personal spiritual reflection, intuition practice, and entertainment. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and nothing in it is a diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any condition.
Readings, the dowsing chart, and all reference material are for personal interest and reflection only. Do not use Intuition to make health, safety, legal, or financial decisions, and do not use it to delay or replace care from a qualified professional. If you have a health concern, contact a licensed healthcare provider. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
You are solely responsible for how you use this app and any decisions you make.
2. Reference-section disclaimer
Where: show at the top of the Maladies, Body, Energy, Essential Oils, and Crystals branches (a short banner or an info sheet on first entry into each).
The information in this section is provided for spiritual and educational interest only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it to diagnose or treat any condition, or to delay seeking qualified care.
3. Essential oils & crystals safety note
Where: within the Essential Oils and Crystals branches (info sheet / footer).
Descriptions of essential oils and crystals here reflect traditional and spiritual associations only. They are not usage, dosage, or treatment guidance. Some essential oils are unsafe to ingest, apply undiluted, or use around children, pregnancy, or pets — always follow the safety information and directions from the product's manufacturer and a qualified practitioner. Crystals are not a treatment for any physical or mental health condition.
4. Reading-outcome disclaimer
Where: a small line on the save-outcome sheet, and/or under the dowsing chart.
Outcomes are for personal reflection and are not predictions, facts, or professional advice.
5. Store-listing disclaimer
Where: include near the end of the App Store and Google Play descriptions (and keep marketing copy free of medical/health claims).
Intuition is for spiritual reflection and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified professional for important decisions.
Category: list the app under Lifestyle on both stores (App Store secondary: Reference or Entertainment). Do not choose Health & Fitness — it invites medical-app review scrutiny and health-data obligations that fight the non-medical framing. (Full rationale in HANDOFF.md → "Store listing decisions".)
6. Writing rules for the rest of the app & store copy
To keep review smooth, avoid language anywhere (UI, descriptions, screenshots) that implies clinical benefit:
Avoid: "diagnose", "treat", "cure", "heal", "remedy for", "relieves", "reduces symptoms", "balances your hormones", dosages, "instead of medication".
Prefer: "explore", "reflect on", "traditionally associated with", "for spiritual/energetic interest", "a tool for your own practice".
Don't imply the app is endorsed by, or equivalent to, a medical professional.
Keep the same non-medical framing in the app's name, subtitle, keywords, and screenshots — reviewers read those too.
