By downloading, installing, or using the Intubator application, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the application.
Intubator is a support tool intended for healthcare professionals, designed to assist with medication dose calculations related to intubation and with pre- and post-procedure checklists.
The user is solely responsible for validating all information provided by the application.
The developer is not responsible for dosing errors, improper administration, technical failures, or misinterpretation of the information provided.
The application does not replace professional clinical judgment and is not intended to function as a regulated medical device.
The application is intended exclusively for licensed healthcare professionals who are 18 years of age or older.
It should not be used by individuals without appropriate healthcare training or by minors.
Some features require a monthly subscription, processed through the applicable app store, including the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The user is responsible for managing, renewing, or canceling the subscription through the platform where the purchase was made.
The developer is not responsible for billing issues, payment processing, or automatic renewals handled by the app store.
The user must ensure that all information entered into the application is accurate and up to date.
The application must be used in accordance with applicable laws, professional standards, and ethical principles governing healthcare practice.
All rights relating to the application's content, structure, features, text, images, design, and functionality belong exclusively to the developer or their respective rights holders.
Reproduction, modification, redistribution, or unauthorized use of the application or its content is prohibited without prior authorization.
In accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law No. 13,709/2018), the developer states that:
The application does not collect, store, or process users' personal data.
No sensitive or identifying information, such as name, national identification number, medical record number, location, email address, or other personal identifier, is required or transmitted.
The application may require an internet connection only for technical operation and subscription verification, without collecting or transmitting personal information.
If future versions of the application begin processing personal data, users will be informed in advance and the applicable terms and privacy documentation will be updated in accordance with applicable law.
The developer reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of the application at any time.
These Terms of Use may also be updated when necessary.
Continued use of the application after changes become effective may constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
The application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, absence of errors, or absolute accuracy of the information or calculations provided.
Medication doses and calculations provided by the application are based on commonly used medical references and clinical parameters.
Healthcare professionals must independently verify, confirm, and adjust all doses according to the patient's clinical condition, age, weight, comorbidities, current guidelines, institutional protocols, and professional judgment.
The developer is not responsible for damages resulting from improper use, incorrect data entry, failure to verify information, or misinterpretation of the content provided by the application.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Brazil.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the courts having jurisdiction over the developer's place of domicile.
