Kampong Canvas is a mobile-web interface accessed via QR codes in buses and MRTs. It
features:
1. Vibe Check: A quick, anonymous multiple-choice poll to share the "mood" of the cabin.
2. Neighborhood Narrator: Local fun facts and stories about the current stop to foster civic
pride.
By shifting the focus from forced interaction to passive acknowledgment, the Kampong Canvas
transforms the commute from a transactional "dead time" into a shared civic experience.

Campus Centre, a commonly used space on campus, is currently not being used at its full potential. Based on the iterative design process and continuous user feedback, the final solution focused on two key interventions: a spatial architectural change to the Campus Centre roof and the introduction of group study pods with integrated charging facilities.

Our design challenge was to transform the severely underused study space behind Albert Hong Lecture Theatre into a more attractive, comfortable, and functional area for SUTD students.
Â
Our goal was to transform this space into one that balances productivity, relaxation, and playfulness; a space that students genuinely want to use rather than walk past.
