Driving
Folks that are coming from the Kansas City area should follow GPS going through Columbia and Jefferson City eventually ending up on 68 which takes you through St. James.
Mound Ridge is about 8 miles out of town.
Stay on 68, after Dry Fork Creek bridge at the junction of 68/8, stay to the left; it will become highway 8 (Do not make any turns)
Stay on Highway 8 and travel about 4 more miles over the ridge; on the descend there is a park, Meramec Springs Park.
Travel another .8 tenths of a mile. Turn on the last gravel road on the right named Mound Ridge (you will see the sign)
Travel the gravel road for about two miles. The Mound Ridge entrance is on the left.
Folks coming from St.Louis head west on I-44, coming from Springfield area head east on I-44.
From Highway, I-44, take the 195 exit (St. James) and take a right or left off the exit ramp (depends on if you are headed east or west on 44)
Turn onto 68/8 and travel through St. James. Mound Ridge is about 8 miles out of town.
