SPhO is a much more difficult competition and is only open to those on the school physics olympiad team. Therefore it is important to do well at SJPO first in order to qualify for the school team. Calculus is the basis of all the questions in SPhO and much more complicated concepts are introduced as well as topics in Modern Physics. You can access the SJPO Syllabus by clicking on the link.
This class is designed for students who have already learnt all the physics concept in the above-mentioned SJPO Course. The course will re-build all concepts from the basis of calculus and introduce much more difficult concepts and interesting questions. The syllabus is referenced from topics in both NUSH and RI olympiad training, as well as additional information from Cambridge.
Time: Saturday 1930 - 2130
This class is designed for all students new to physics who will be taking SJPO for the first time. The course will cover all four major topics tested in SJPO according to the syllabus. This builds a key foundation of physical understanding and mathematical tools that allow the student to use physics and math more creatively together.
