Youth Courts are community organizations that help youth advance their communities through forgiveness, learning, and communication. Building youth a place to resolve problems amongst themselves and others in their community, without the fear of, violence, imprisonment or death. International Association of Youth Court, Youth Courts are free will courts, meaning that youth have the choice to not attend court if they do not want to, youth will not be forced to attend court in any function, as Facilitator ("Judge"), Jury or Lawyer.
A Youth Court is a community development system set to support youth through legal systems, and avert youth from problematic behavior, through community development.
Youth Courts shelter youth with early, clarification, introduction, and intervention of peaceful, merciful, and forgiving legal systems.
Youth Courts, are always partially separated from Youth Courts and Juvenile systems from legal adult or elder systems, saving the time & materials of adult or elder legal systems, while protecting youth from cultural accidents and choices of their elders, and death.
Youth Courts' presence fosters youth leadership, engagement, and interactions. “Helping Youth See and Build Their Future”, and growing support groups for youth participants and their communities
All courts are cultivated for inhabitants and citizens to ask for help and support from a free court system of advocates, juries, and panels in hopes of growing a more diverse community that is able to live well with eachother while maintaining individuality and differences supporting communities with spectrums of perspectives that builds a strong community that allows Life, Free Will, Awareness, and Education and a more cohesive and cooperative relationship between any & all people in communities with courts.
