The journey to launch Interplay has been inspiring, and the incredible response to the first edition open call —nearly 3,000 proposals from over 100 countries— exceeded all our expectations.
Interplay was conceived as a platform for experimentation, and the diversity of submissions in this first edition highlights the global connections we share through the language of experimental media. The selected works push the boundaries of perception and storytelling, offering bold explorations that challenge how we experience art and technology. From abstract visuals to unconventional narratives, these pieces invite us to explore new creative territories.
What excites us the most is the sense of community Interplay fosters. Thanks to our partners, Hanshan Art Museum, Taicang Art Museum and H+ Museum, this is more than a showcase; it’s a space where established artists and emerging talents come together to inspire and challenge each other.
The inaugural edition divided the submissions into four different curated programs: Media Palimpsest, New Narratives, Prospective Perspectives, and In Flux.
