About the EPOS project

The EPOS Internationalisation at Home (IaH) project is part of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT)  Postdoctoral Excellence Innovation Programme (METADIDAKTOR) and aims to explore IaH practices and initiatives, particularly in the Republic of Cyprus. Currently, there is a lack of training in IaH in the post-pandemic era within the Cyprus HE system, a training that can strategically drive and operationally implement IaH, and rigorously create evidence about the effectiveness and efficiency of IaH practices. To overcome this gap, the project has the following objectives that are linked to three work packages (WPs):

Objective 1: To identify best practices in IaH in HE by conducting a systematic literature review of manuscripts published in the past five years (WP2).

Objective 2: To identify the needs of the academic staff employed in universities of the Republic of Cyprus in terms of IaH practices by conducting a survey and interviews about content, topics, teaching methods, and administrative settings (WP2).

Objective 3: To foster sustainable integration of IaH practices by developing a training programme on IaH practices for academic staff employed in universities of the Republic of Cyprus (WP3).

Objective 4: To guide academic staff in the critical use of digital resources and tools to implement IaH practices by developing an e-Toolkit that could be easily adapted across disciplines (WP3).

Objective 5: To create a community of practice by exploiting a technical infrastructure that will support the promotion of the project’s results as well as the publication of the resources created in the project (WP4).
