My name is Sofiia Matsuk, and I am the host of this International Coffee Morning. I created this event to bring people together in a welcoming space where we can share cultures, experiences and conversation over coffee.

As someone who is originally from Ukraine and moved to Scotland because of war, I understand how challenging it is to start a new life in a different place and how important it is to feel part of a community. Which is why I have decided to host this event and create an inclusive environment.

This International Coffee Morning is a warm and welcoming gathering where young people can meet and talk about their experiences of living/moving  abroad, different cultures and what their home country is like over drinks and snacks.
