Our Mission

Promoting understanding and respectful relationships among diverse faith communities in Central Oregon by offering opportunities for education, worship, fellowship and service together.

Means for doing this include:

1. Connecting. Provide a means for nourishing souls through engaging with members of diverse faith backgrounds in such a way that understanding of and respect for the diversity of faith teachings is fostered and all are inspired to join hands to bring a united spiritual perspective to community issues.

2. Education. Provide educational opportunities to learn about the diverse faith traditions that exist in Bend and elsewhere and at the same time develop a capacity for community building, advocacy and volunteer recruitment.

3. Service. Provide opportunities for sharing meaningful community service, helping to fill gaps in vital services, and initiating specific projects for the purpose of modeling interfaith unity in action.
