DEBRIEF
Some of Leos notes: Leo asked Larry to invite each person to share their experience today.
Sally: enjoyable Love EC and learning, constant learning
Linda: 1st time we focused more on our spiritual journeys; this time more focus on how to bridge the divisions
Sky: EC I feel so supportive... I can't get into a fight with these people. I encourage you to get it wrong so they can forgive you. An EC is a place with good vibes.
Lynda: 1st time in EC. I didn't feel judged; I felt respected, worthy and uplifted
Dwayne: Thanks to others who helped me facilitate. I have Covid now, but I'm feeling better.
Mike: Worthy yes, Lynda. Much strife in politics is from not feeling worthy
Paul: 1st EC Learning the technique to be an active listener. Stumbled a bit on giving feedback. Process allows us to deal with and confirm our own identity and to be heard by someone else. Frustrated that some communication uses labels to gain trust; can be a lazy form of communication that skirts deeper issues in our lives.
Larry: EC is a tool for human potential to discover ourselves, play like children Just be our natural selves and discover what that is and that our natural selves have been suppressed for thousands of years. Grateful to Edwin for the EC process. I'll keep coming back
Leo: I sometimes wondered what the other group was talking about, but I agree two groups of five is better than nine or ten, better flow and more chances to talk. Edwin has been promoting EC for 14 years. We have time left today to consider two questions:
1) How to help the movement grow and bring it forward; and
2) How to harvest the wisdom that surfaces in EC conversations.
Q How to bring it forward?
Advertise ED is a safe place to share who you really are. Don't have to take sides to belong.or try convincing others to your viewpoint.
Mike promotes EC on his websites. Has shared with another LWV chapter the recent candidates EC Edwin was part of.
Dwayne recently noticed high schoolers working at a fast food place and wondered how to involve youth in the EC movement. (Another group member chimed in that he did not cross this particular (age) boundary to engage others not in our comfort zone.
Have a business card ready to distribute with EC info and links.
PSAs are free; Lynda has instructions how to utilize
Use the media: radio, TV, newspapers, social media
Q on harvesting
Conduct data collection in ways that show progress and growth, such as examples of EC impact on families who have been helped by EC communication tool and are back together again-- data that is results-based (Larry)
Data is critical (Lynda) need specialists in data and to be very focused.
Promote with Testimonies
Propaganda trying to divide us . EC approach is more positive and conducive to unity, significant for families, country and maybe prevent a WW III

This week Humanity Rising is focusing on Democracy again. Attached is a description of the morning presenters, 8:00-9:30 AM M-F. Perhaps I can recruit some interest and allies for EC.
