This reading center idea uses no visuals, so it can be used by students as they read along in the book themselves.
I like this idea because some students (and adults like myself) get distracted with the visuals and will forget to read along. As the video progresses, there is a sheep bleating sound that is a reminder to turn the page. I love this.
1. Record yourself reading aloud. Get the best quality you can.
2. Upload the audio file into WeVideo, or your favorite video editing program.
3. Upload your own graphic to the timeline (extend it over your audio track).
4. Add an introduction or written directions (depending upon the age of your audience).
5. Finish the project as a video.
6. Upload to YouTube.
