Our product uses an Arduino Nano to randomly select a quadrant LED to flash. This signals to the user which corner to aim for, which trains reflexes and accuracy. The code for the project accounts for random selection as well as adjusting the delay time with the control button.
We completely designed our project in Autodesk Inventor 2018 as it allowed us to derive the proper dimensions for our holes and spacers. We took advantage of parametric modeling to quickly modify our project, and we also used the built-in features to document our progress.
Our Net Frame was built with precise mechanical skills to cut PVC Pipes to specific dimensions and drill holes at the correct distances. We used mechanical concepts and physics to increase the stability of our project and augment its intended performance with the net.
