Centered around the timely theme, "Intellectual Property in the Digital Age: Influencers, Remix Culture, Music Rights, and Emerging Virtual Media," the event served as a vibrant, collaborative platform. It brought together diverse voices from the intellectual property ecosystem, including legal practitioners, academicians, and industry professionals, to explore the evolving intersection of intellectual property law, technological innovation, and contemporary modes of content creation.
The conclave featured an esteemed panel of guest speakers: Ms. Usha L, Partner at Krishnamurthy & Co., Bengaluru; Mr. Satyam Rathore, Senior Associate at K & S Partners, Bengaluru; and Mr. Stalin Arnold, Assistant Professor at Christ University, Bengaluru. Held in the college auditorium, the event offered a rigorous academic experience across two distinct sessions. Day 1 featured a deep dive into the conceptual underpinnings and historical evolution of Intellectual Property Rights, guided by the expertise of Ms. Deepali Nayak (IP Consultant). Her session provided students with critical insights into the foundational elements of IP law.
