[Talk] 國立彰化師範大學輔導與諮商學系碩士班「I See You: 輔導與諮商關係促進個案復原力的社會神經科學基礎」 (2026.10)

Especially thanks to Professor Chi-Kuang Sun for inviting me to give a talk in the first semester of the master's program 學術定向與專業成長講座. In the talk, I:

• introduced neuroimaging, social neuroscience, and two-person neuroscience

• shared current findings on neuroimaging studies on psychological resilience and counselor-client interactions

• shared insights on neuroscience-based psychotherapy with these counselors-to-be

In addition, I improved students' learning and engagement through hybrid interactive activities and gamification teaching, including real-time polls, open-ended questions, and discussions. Five groups of students who actively participated were awarded with mouth-watering Taiwanese snacks. Thanks for the invitation! (2026.10.07)

[Lecture] Hands-on Literature Reading Workshop: Strategic Reading: From 'What' to 'Why' and 'How to Do It Right'  (2026.05)

I designed a hands-on literature reading workshop for master's students on strategic literature reading, starting from a pre-workshop diagnostic survey, gamification teaching (遊戲化教學), Miro for collaborative learning and Kami for collaborative PDF annotation, and a post-workshop impact assessment. 

I developed a strategic reading framework by combining a "Strategic Reading Template" with a modified three-pass, active reading workflow for students. The workshop received positive feedback, and the learners began developing effective strategies for reading literature! (2026.05.22)

[Talk] Trauma-informed Expressive-Creative Art Therapy Conference (2026.04)

Honored to be invited as one of the speakers at the 2026 "Intra-Brain & Inter-Brain: Loss & Trauma Taiwan Expressive-Creative Arts Therapies International Conference" （臺灣表達-創造性藝術治療學會《腦內與腦間：失落、創傷與表創性藝術治療國際研討會》)! 

In the panel session (藝術、美學與創傷知情神經科學), I gave a talk titled「重構與共同調節：從情感、疼痛與社會神經科學的視角看創傷知情藝術治療」。I shared the neuroscience behind trauma-informed art therapy from the perspectives of affective, pain, and social neuroscience. Synchrony between client and therapist (or even child and parent, student and teacher) occurs at the behavioral, physiological, and neural levels and contributes to therapeutic effects. It's inspiring to engage with front-line art therapists and psychologists! (2026.04.25)

[Training] Shortlisted trainee of the "Foundations in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Programme" (FLTHE) Cohort 8 by NYCU HEAT & Advance HE!   (2026.01)

The Foundation in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (FLTHE) program is an annual, one-stage, 18-hour training program co-designed by the UK Advanced Higher Education (英國高等教育學會) and NYCU Higher Education Accreditation for Teaching (HEAT; 國際高教培訓暨認證中心).

It's my great honor to be selected as one of 20 Postdocs/PhD trainees out of 200+ applicants for Cohort 8 of the FLTHE Programme (FLTHE 8; 2025-2026)! Certificate of Completion was awarded after the intensive 3-day training and active participation. Thank you, NYCU HEAT team!  (2026.01.08-10)
