Resting in the Sufficiency of Christ - Paul Tautges

Weakness is not a hindrance to faithful ministry but part of God’s design to display the glory of Christ through His servants, strengthening His church in the process

Created to Know & Be Known - Matt King

What does it actually mean to know God and be known by God? In a world of constant contact and communication, we can actually exist in a way that leaves us hollow, unfulfilled, and unseen. Join us as we examine the difference between merely believing and actually belonging in relationships with God and others.

One in Song - Eric Heida

Why do we sing? How do we sing? To whom do we sing? Is singing of any benefit? These are important questions to ask, since much of our life together as a Church is spent singing Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs. In this session, we are going to seek to briefly answer these questions, and then put into practice what we are being preached. So, make sure your voices are warmed up as we strive to be One in Song!

Knowing and Being Known in Suffering – Alysia Whiteside

What good could possibly come from suffering? And why would a good God allow suffering in the first place? We know that we are not immune to suffering, yet we have all asked these questions. In this fallen world, what God created as good was broken by sin, bringing immediate and lasting consequences. But there is hope! In the midst of suffering, God reveals himself in ways that are deeply personal, relational and transformative. God is intimately aware of your affliction, anguish, despair, and anxiety – not distant or indifferent. Suffering not only becomes the place where His faithfulness is proven, but is where we come to know his character in ways that seasons of ease rarely reveal. Being known by God, chosen, loved, and held securely in Christ, means living in the freedom and assurance of what is already true of us in Christ: His love, His care, and His presence with us in every circumstance.

Forgive as You’ve Been Forgiven – Glen Slingerland

As Christians we rejoice that we have peace with God through the forgiveness of our sins because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ- and rightly so! However, when someone sins against us and we are called by God to forgive, we sometimes balk. Why? What does forgiving others actually mean? And why is it so hard for us to do? Let’s talk about what it means to forgive as we’ve been forgiven.

Shaming Shame – Matt King

Shame is a universal human experience. It is a unique emotion that robs and destroys our relationship with ourselves, others, and ultimately with God. In this session, we will examine scriptural examples of shame as well as its impact on relationships. We will find that God specializes in Shaming Our Shame to allow us to walk joyfully and freely in relationships.

Can I Call God My Friend?: Friendship with God and Others – Sara Schenkel

Do you struggle to develop and nurture flourishing friendships? Do you experience the friendship of Jesus? Do you feel known? Do you truly know others? This workshop will look at the why, who, what and how of friendship. We will examine what scripture says about friendship and how friendship with God is the foundation for our friendship with others. We will consider the content of a good biblical friendship and learn some skills in growing in our friendships

Growing in Christlikeness Together - Paul Tautges

True church growth is not the result of programs or strategies but the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, who builds up the body of Christ by sanctifying and equipping every believer.
