NOTES

1. For any new business you write please remember that you need to send the first set of policy decs and ID cards to the client, UIG will not do that for us (except with the book roll, they are sending those out).  They will send them the information at renewal.  The client can also log in to the UIG website www.uuinsurance.com and set up a login and get their own policy.  They will also be rolling out a new app in the next 3 months where clients can login and get policy information and ID cards on their phones.

2. As of right now they write their policies with 6-month terms.  They used to have a 12 month option but they decided to go back to 6-month to help profitability.  If they run profitably over the next 6-12 months they will most likely add 12-month term option back.

3. Make sure you are sending lien holders and mortgagee’s the new information so we don’t put clients in a forced-placed insurance situation.
