Pre-Great War Era

Before the Great war the Five Lands lived in peace and harmony

Little is known about this time, the war destroyed almost everything

Amerigo

The dragons, the Infernals, Shenonites, Dragon Bornes, and Demi-Humans lived in peace in unity in Amerigo. The entire continent acted as one country with many interracial cities. 

Revagonia 

  The Revagone empire has existed for thousands of years. Settling in the mostly empty continent of what is now Revagonia, The Revagones spent around 200 years building up their great nation. Any person of any race, ethnicity, or religion was welcome to thrive under his golden empire. The economy prospered, food was abundant, quality of life, and life expectancy was the best it had ever been. 

Ayedron

On Ayedron, Indigenous Firbolgs lived peacefully.  They built small towns of hide and wood, farmed crops, and most notably, dug underground rooms where stones would be painted, and Druids would be trained. These paintings showed the way of life of the Firbolgs, and the peace that Ayedron held, and the ancient, Druid art. 

Ensha

The elves on Shen and Lorenzo, were both in indigenous tribes and developed cities, that would regularly interact with one another peacefully. The Path of the Samurai is a philosophy, martial art, and way of life that was developed by city and tribal elves. Those who practiced the Path of the Samurai were seen as wise protectors of the land, and the unity of elves. 

Ilya

In the forgetten times of the Five Lands, the land Land of Ilya was colonized by the Loshoan, Dwarve, and Changeling tribes. Over the years they developed their own way of life, and formed their own nation, no longer calling themselves Shenonite. Ilya before the Great War was incredibly isolated. Many stories were written and recorded, and these stories were preserved for a long time. Over the centuries, the themes of these stories were changed, but the culture of honor and heroism remained. Once they were properly connected with the outside war, the Great War was already on its way, and despite its proximity to the center of the conflict there was little concern for their limited influence. 

The Great War

The Great War was a war that erupted in many areas of the world, that destroyed peace as we know it. It believed by most people in the western world that the war started in Amerigo, among the 17 Shenonite tribes, and then spread to the whole world, however this does not account for many wars and atrocities that took place in the war (many people deny these atrocities).

The true cause of the war, is by the dragons, sending their kin to spark different conflict all among the world. 

Titanis

Ideas of superiority were planted among the 17 Shenonite tribes, and each tribe grew to believe they were the only tribe meant to be. Of the 17 tribes, only the Loshians survived, destroying any remnants of the other tribes. The myth of the "Great Titan" choosing the Loshians spread, and the nation of Titanis was formed. 

Yezzuai

  In Amerigo, a Fascist infernal movement called the AYV (Ancuine Yezzuai Venitoopar, which translates to The Ancient Yezzuai Reformation Party) formed claiming that a race of Tieflings existed before any of the others and had bright red skin and wings (which are known today to be traits that are not genetic), and that other races had weakened them. This party, in an attempt to "preserve" people of these traits, moved south attempting to keep only Tieflings in their land. Tieflings with red skin and wings were kept in towns where only people of those traits could enter. Yezzuai then attempted to slowly take land North, into the Loshians' territory. 

Gevon 

Racism among Dragon Bornes arose, as they were given ideas that Chromatic or Metallic Dragons were superior as they were "More Gevonite." When the Loshians claimed the central land of Titanis, and the Tieflings the south land of Yezzuai, and both chased out all other races, the Dragon Bornes fought for the land Northeast. The battle continued for weather the Chromatic or Metallic dragons should have the land ended in a treaty giving the North to Chromatic Dragons and South to the Metallic Dragons. The fighting stopped for 5 years before promptly picking back up. 

When Revagone declared war on the Dragons, manty of them went to Gevon to hide, or to locate their kin and form a following. 

Julian

All over Amerigo, rumors that Demi-Humans were trying to hold back society, kill off other races, and get rid of magic, led to them being attacked and persecuted by almost every society. Due to this most Demi-Humans fled the Northwest, where the peaceful, Republic of Julian was formed.

Ensha

Most of the city elves in Shen and Lorenzo began to think were superior to the tribal elves and exiled them to the Archipelago. The ancient martial art composed of both city and tribal elves was almost entirely lost, with its few samurais left taking Refuge on the coast, attempting to pass on their art. 

The Revagone Empire

Lord Revagone knew of the dragon's intentions and tried to bring to light what they did, in an attempt to end the war. In response to this, the dragons sent their kin to stir up revolt in his empire, shattering it. Revagone fought the dragons for hundreds of years after, until the remaining dragons went into hiding. Most of the world believes he killed the dragons off entirely. 

Harvard

Many revolts were stirred up in Harvard when the Dragons sought to destroy Revagone. The first anti Revagonian rebellion was led by a revolutionary named Marsha Harvard. Harvard and her militia were fierce, but no match for the Revagone army. Only through secretly appointed Yad'at-zoo generals and hiring Kilijuk mercenaries was she able to take over most of North Revagonia. 

Jeb

During the Harshen rebellion, many Revagone citizens living in North Central Revagonia  were forced to flee. While most fled south, a great number fled north. When the rebellion gained control of the North the Revagonians in Jeb were cut off from the rest of the Empire, forcing them to become a sovereign nation. 

Modern Day

After the great war died down, things greatly improved but never returned. 

Titanis

After a few hundred years Titanis set up a constitutional monarchy and opened up its borders to immigrants. It quickly grew as a world leader in trade, and military. It has made peace with its surrounding nations with the exception of occasional tensions with Yezzuai. Yezzuai has made, attempts to colonize Ayedron, resulting in Titanis getting involved. As well, as AYV action occasionally stirring up.

Yezzuai

After the war ended, Yezzuai remained fascist until a revolt in 578. Their civil war lasted 10 years before, their democratic republic. The AYV was cast aside, but never completely died. In the following years it has occasionally popped back into power before getting voted out. During these periods attacks on Ayedron and Titanis were a worry. 

Gevon

The fighting never stopped in Gevon. After the South was given to the metallics and the north to the Chromatics, fighting continued. Over the years, different cities have been built and destroyed. Even among dragons in the same land, racism in specific colors, metals, or clans is common. Many Dragon Bornes see their own society as the true Gevonites meant to live alongside a certain or multiple Dragons. 

Revagonians are hated in Gevon as most Gevonites believe he murdered all the dragons because he was afraid their empire would be stronger than his. 

Julian

After the formation of Julian, the peaceful republic prospered, forming its own language combining all animal talk. 

Ayedron

Ayedron continues to live its peaceful way of life, living under the protection of Titanis. The only real change since the war being their land they Lost to Yezzuai. 

The Revagone Empire

Lord Revagone and his army have worked tirelessly against Ancient Dragons, hunting them down and slaying them. For 900 years, he has tried to restore his empire to before they shattered it. North Revagonia remains riddled with famine, misinformation, and ill-governments that have sparked enough dispute for re-annexation. 

Shen 

Most city elves in Shen continue to see themselves superior to tribal elves with the exception of the coast. The work of the Samurais has survived a millennium of segregation, but it continues to be forgotten by most. 

Lorenzo

Lorenzo elves have completely shunned all Tribal elves and instead have pursued technological advancement and research. Lorenzo, while one of the most racist countries in the world, is friendly with all countries for the sake of learning from their research. Lorenzo is the most technologically advanced nation. 

Ilya

200 years after the great war the Kilijuk family formed in Ilya but would not rise to power for several hundred more years. It took several hundred years after the great war for tensions to cool which made it difficult for Ilya to finally open up to the world. In 577 Ilya set up diplomatic relations with The Revagone Empire, Titanis, and Julian. In 893 the Kilijuks attempted to take over the southern half of the island, including the city of Saratoon. The small Ilyan military was able to fight off the revolt, but not completely crush, allowing them to claim a small piece of land in the south of the island. 

Harvard

After the rebellion, Marsha Harvard declared herself president, but was assassinated only a few years later. Soon after her death three main political parties took over. The party backed by most citizens, was the Revagone loyalists hoping to be reannexed. The other parties were an oligarchy descended from Marsha Harvard that gained power from propaganda, and a small group of Gevonites, hoping to set up a caste system. This caused major parts of Harvard to break off and form the nations of Credence, Jokin, and Illison. Modern day the majority of the land is Run by Donald Yee Cheesoo. A Juli immigrant, who took over the Marsha party despite not being her descendant. Cheesoo has been able to gain more support through propaganda and force. 

Jeb

Despite the Jebi want for re-annexation hundreds of years later, the North Revagonian nations continue to block Jeb from being accessed by the Revagone empire. Despite this Jeb citizens consider themselves Revagonian and, the Revagone Empire considers Jeb a part of it. 

Jzeck

After the war, some of the Kilijuk Mercenaries, remained in Revagonia, hoping to claim a region for the faction. While they initially planned to takeover more land, they were quickly pushed back by the rest of Harvard. Today the land is ruled by the Kilijuk oligarchy. 

Credence

Slave labor was brought to Harvard before it was even considered independent of Revagone. As more and more people wanted slaves, the issue of getting them grew larger and larger. Slave mills were expensive and took up a lot of room. Slowly, everything involving the production of slaves was pushed to the Northwest, where everyday Harshens could not see or think about it. In 358, Flor Credence was appointed as Head of Unpaid Labor. Credence revolutionized the trade like never before, selling millions of slaves for dirt cheap. Eventually, Jzeck caught on, also wanting mass labor for extremely cheap. After a short battle, in 364 Credence was declared independent of Harvard. 

Illison

In 950 Illison was taken over by a wealthy and powerful faction that had formed in North Revagonia known as the Greb. Obsessed with power, the greb wanted to make a nation of superhumans that could rule over any nation. In order to accomplish this, they kidnapped thousands of scholars from Lorenzo, forcing them to do research and teach so they could accelerate as a nation. 

Jokin

In 984, in a desperate move to gain more control against the Loyalists and Draconics, Oligarch Monsey Harvard divided up the vacant Northeastern bank of land no longer bordering Harvard and put it up for auctions, making trillions for himself in the process. Many of the worlds wealthiest typhoons took opportunity on this setting up a tax free haven, run entirely by slave labor.
