To the Moon

I stretch my hand ever so often as we walk those evening trails,
With your hand intertwined with my other, your eyes on me as I stare at her.
You looked at stars and fell on the grass while I stared at the moon and got high on grass.
We sipped on tea in silent thought while our legs brushed against each other and our hearts sang louder.
We walk for hours through same mundane trails and we look up every once in a while to admire our muses.
Then we look at each other and smile true smiles and brush our lips together to sing out our love for each other.
Then I stretch my hand out to her on those evening trails, while you hold on to the other and I wish for her to take us away.
