Head of SDU’s Gender Equality Team, University of Southern DENMARK
She is the Head of SDU’s Gender Equality Team with extensive experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). She has held key roles in four EU gender projects, including WP Leader in FESTA and INSPIRE, Coordinator of SPEAR, and member of GENDERACTIONplus.
For over 12 years, she has worked at both strategic and practical levels, collaborating with the Executive Board and leading initiatives on gender-based violence, sexism, recruitment, and unconscious bias, driving institutional change at SDU.
Since 2013, she has been a member of SDU’s Vice-Chancellor’s Equality Board and co-founded the Danish network for gender equality practitioners, which she leads. She also works closely with national bodies and Ministries on broader DEI policies. A collaborative leader, she excels in cross-national co-creation.
Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (AUTH).
She is a member of AUTH’s International Relations Committee and serves as the coordinator of T.I.M.E. (a double-degree network coordinated by École Centrale de Paris). She is also a board member of RMEI (the Mediterranean Network of Engineering Schools for Sustainable Development).
Previously, she was the scientific lead within RMEI for the HORIZON 2020 project TARGET (Taking a Reflexive Approach to Gender Equality for Institutional Transformation). Currently, she is the RMEI Community of Practice (CoP) facilitator for the INSPIRE Project.
