Health & Safety

We look forward to welcoming attendees in-person. Our priority is the health and safety of everyone attending the conference and we are taking care to make every participant feel safe.

Due to ongoing changes in regulations in Germany and our continued commitment to minimizing risk for all in-person participants, the INOC 2022 will be a vaccine- or recovery-mandated conference. We further have to follow all regulations enforced by RWTH Aachen University, the city of Aachen and the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. More information will be posted in due time.

We have to respond to newly introduced Covid-19 regulations such that the conditions of the conference can change at short notice.

Currently, people are considered fully vaccinated if they have received three doses or the first two doses within the last 9 months. People are considered recovered if the result of a positive PCR test is at least 28 days but not more than 90 days old. Note that three doses and/or a recent negative rapid test (24 hrs) is currently necessary for the conference dinner (and all other restaurants). These conditions might change in the coming months. We therefore encourage all participants to get the number of vaccinations that are needed to be safe for yourself and all other participants!

All on-site participants need to provide proof of regulation regarding vaccinations or recovery status (currently proof of full vaccination or proof of recovery)!

More information on COVID-19 entry and quarantine regulations in Germany can be found at the website of the federal foreign office. Please also check the regulations of your home country.
