VEU is a unique application developed to help assist people with vision disorders.

Currently the application has 3 categories:

1. Myopia

Features:

• Calculate and track your diopters
• Reminders to reduce eyestrain
• Track appointments with your optometrist

2. Hyperopia

Features:

• Magnifying lens for seeing smaller texts
• Text recognition
• Text-to-speech
• Track appointments with your optometrist

3. Impaired vision or blindness

Features:

• Text recognition
• Face detection
• Bar-code/QR code reader
• Anti-theft alarm

• If you find your eyesight degrading, consult your optometrist.
• The Myopia calculator does not give 100% accurate results, it is just a tool for calculating approximate diopters and keeping track of them.
• The tips being shown in the application is solely based on developers's personal experiences and Internet research.
