SUMMARY

INDECOPI has implemented a new project called “Voluntary Removal of Regulatory Barriers to Competition: Using Social Norms to Nudge Government Institutions towards Better Policies” based on the use of social norms in official documents and data dashboards to monitor the removal. Through this, public servants compare their behaviour with their peers and adapt their perceptions about legal requirements, which permits the elimination of bureaucratic barriers in less time.
