Lecturers, Technical Experts, Researcher, STEM-major Alumni - Please send an email to seakleng.itc@gmail.com and let us know that you are interested in participating, sponsoring, or providing us with a Need statement. We will contact you and get you involved.

We are now recruiting both technical voluntary mentors and business mentors. If you are interested, please get in touch with Coordinator at seakleng@itc.edu.kh by November 7th, 2018

Eligibility for being mentors

  1. Everyone can be a mentor (Lecturers, technical experts, researchers, businessmen, Senior students, teachers, parents, community leaders, or professionals.)
  2. Willingness to give feedback in person and/or be a virtual mentor to the teams.
  3. Time is flexible. They should be have some time during November 2018.
    • (1) Sunday, November 11th, 2018, morning session from 9am - 12am, and/or afternoon session from 2pm - 5pm at ITC ,
    • (2) other offline and online meeting due to mentor available time at anywhere.

What you'll do

  • Share experiences, ideas, knowledge based on your skills and experiences.
  • Comment and Feedback.
  • Recommend GO or NOT GO, how to GO better, and where to seek for other resources.
  • Provide advices, but NOT decide for the team.
  • Encourage team to complete within the time frame.

Our mentors

Mr. Pich Reatrey

Mr. Pich Reatrey is a lecturer and Network and System Administrator at ITC. He got Master degree at International College of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand. He has both strong technical skill and soft skills: innovation, public speaking, interpersonal improvement, leadership and entrepreneurship. He can also speak 4 languages such as Khmer, English, French and Thai language.

Dr. Phuoy Lyheng

Dr. Phuoy Lyheng is a lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering, ITC. He got a master degree in energy engineering from Thailand. He teaches computer aided design (AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS). He is also the founder of Khmerism keyboard layout (a new arrangement of Khmer alphabets on the keyboard). He is passionate about appropriate technology and universal design.

Dr. Liv Yi

Dr. Yi Liv is a research lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the Institute Technology of Cambodia (ITC). Yi received his master Mechanics of Materials and Structures in 2013, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Composite Materials in 2017 from the University of Girona, Spain. He has a variety of experiences in technological inovation

Dr. Pec Rothna

Dr. Rothna Pec received his engineering diploma in electrical and energy engineering majoring in electronics, automation, and telecommunication from ITC and M.S. degree and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering majoring in communication and signal processing from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea. He was also a postdoctoral researcher in Mobile Communication Laboratory in Chung-Ang university.

Mr. Sainglong Kaing

Mr. Sainglong is a lecturer and researcher at ITC (M. Eng. RSGIS-AIT). He was a former survey manager at Sino Great Wall International Engineering Co., Ltd. He got a Master degree on Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He has experienced in Topographic and Bathymetric Survey, GNSS operation, GIS and Remote Sensing applications

Mr. Sovichea Tep

Mr. Sovichea is a lecturer on Electronic System Engineering at ITC. He was a former Intern at TE Connectivity. He studies Electronic Systems for Embedded and Communication Applications at ENSEEIHT Toulouse, France.

Ms. KAMILA NOVAK

Ms. Kamila Novak is a Programme Manager at the Social Business Unit of the Havas Riverorchid agency. She can help the teams with Marketing, Business strategy, Sustainability strategy, financial modeling, behavior change communications, business strategy. She is currently working for Havas Riverorchid Cambodia. Kamila has academic background in finance, strategy and policy applied to the sustainable development context, with BSc (Honours) in Investment and Financial Risk Management degree from Cass Business School, UK and Master of Public Management (Major in NGO Management) degree from SDA Bocconi Business School, Italy.

Mr. DAVID TAN

Mr. DAVID TAN is a Managing Director at MYTEB, the premier Ed Tech solutions provider based in Phnom Penh. He has more than 10 years experience in digital marketing, software development, manufacturing, import/export, and 12 years in Advertising, Business Development & Regional Training. David has conducted business at an international level as the Business Development Director of R & D Media Holdings and has been key in managing several startups in the the technology services sectors. He will be sharing these experiences and bringing his marketing skills as a business mentor

Mr. Pidor NGIN

Mr. Pidor NGIN is a Head of SYSTEM MANAGEMENT DIVISION, IT Department. at National Bank of Cambodia. He studied IT Strategy from RMIT University, Australia. He was a former student from ITC and RUPP. He is also a lecturer on Computer Sciences in NUM. He can help the team with innovative ideas and technology side and more.

Ms. Seak Leng

Ms. Seak Leng is an Executive Officer and Coordinator of Techno Innovation Challenge Cambodia at ITC. She has a Master degree in Mobile Technology and Bachelor degree in General Management. In, 2015, She got a Silver Medal from Cambodia National Business Model Competition and went to Regional Competition level in Vietnam and then went to International level in Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, the Unite State of America.

Mr. Leng Hywfi

Mr. Leng Hwyfi Graduated in Political Science in International Relations, and he also got his specialization training in Global training of Trainer and Asian Youth Worker from Spain and South Korea respectively. Hywfi is now an Operation and HR Manager at Cambodian Living Arts, one of the largest Arts and Culture Non-Profit Organization in Cambodia. He has a variety of experiences in coaching, debating, Operations planning, business pitching training, project management, public relation and youth engagement and mobilization.

Mr. Ly Rottana

Mr. Ly Rottana is a lecturer of Computer Science at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. He attended in the USAID funded Talent Development Program (TDP) in 2014. He volunteered to be a mentor in Technovation program in 2018, which is a program for high school girls to use the technology to help solve problems in our society.

Mr. Hel Chanthan

Mr. Hel Chanthan is a lecturer and researcher in Electrical and Energy engineering department at ITC. He is also a co-founder in Best-Bio-Medical Engineering. He got a Master degree from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He has a knowledge and skill in Electronics, Telecom n Networking.

Dr. Tan Reasmey

Dr. Tan Reasmey is a chemical engineering extraordinaire! She’s working to turn volatile fatty acid and bio-gas production into renewable energy resources. She is a scientist, researcher, lecturer, and mentor. She got a Master degree from De La Salle University, Philippines, and a Doctoral degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.

Mr. Lay Vathna

Mr. Lay Vathna is a director of e-learning center at National Institute of Posts, Telecoms & ICT. He is also an iOS Senior Developer. He worked at CDAC, Pune. He studied PG diploma in Mobile Computing at C-DAS ACTS Headquarters in India.

Ms. Mang Keomonita

Ms. Mang Keomonita is a co founder of Kon Chhlat project that produce baby nutrition porridge for children. She graduated in Chemical and Food Technology, and she was also one of winners in Techno Innovation Challenge 2017. "I am looking forward to see innovated products from next generation in Cambodia and willing to do my best for helping you."

Ms. Chea Sreysros

Ms. Chea Sreysrors is a co-founder of Kon Chhlat baby nutrient instant porridge base from banana and local vegetable. She is a former chemical and food engineering student at ITC and has joined many social ventures both in national and international events. She was also one of winners in Techno Innovation Challenge 2017. "I am sure that youths in new generations have a great idea and grow with fruitful outcomes."

Mr. Ou Bunlong

Mr. Ou Bunlong is a co-founder of VENTA Youth, Russey E3 and Sor5 Water Filter, been selected as Top 6 teams from last Techno Innovation Challenge 2017. He is a senior student majoring in Chemical Engineering at ITC. He has experienced in some platforms which inspire students to passionate in STEM fields and encourage youths to tackle with environmental issues. He also has knowledge about entrepreneurship, communication, planning, innovating idea and video editing.

Mr. David Sweeting

Mr. David Sweeting is the Founder and Director of The Urban Platform Studio - an advisory, project management and research consultancy focused on developing innovative solutions for urban challenges in Asia Pacific.

David has worked extensively on urban resilience, digital innovation, social entrepreneurship, and urban development planning projects in informal settlements, urban communities and cities across Asia Pacific (PNG, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines and Nepal).

He has over 13 years’ experience providing consultation and advisory services to value-driven organisations, NGO’s, universities, social enterprises and start-ups including, RMIT University Global Cities Program; The Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University; The Development Planning Unit at University College London; The Centre for International Health and Development at Leeds University; Baan Mankong Housing Program; World Vision International; World Vision Australia; World Vision U.K; Save the Children Australia; Save the Children U.S; Save the Children International; and Habitat for Humanity International.
