Inner Voice Writing Journal - Final.pdfInner Voice is a writing challenge for resilient youth, ages 13 to 18, based in Los Angeles. If you are currently attending a title 1 school, and/or are system involved - then this challenge is for you!
The purpose of the challenge is to encourage young people to express themselves through writing.
We will be publishing an online journal once a year that will include all works submitted*.

The works can be about anything and can be any genre (realistic fiction, fantasy, adventure, poetry, etc).
Works can be in the form of a poem or a short story with a word limit of 750 words.
Works must be submitted by April 23, 2023.
You can only submit 1 work to the journal and competition per year.

There will be a panel of judges who will read over all of the works submitted and choose three prize winners.
Third place winner will win $250
Second place winner will win $500
First place winner will win $750
