FAQs
How will the works be published?
All works will be published in an online literary journal. It is yet to be determined if a physical journal will be produced as well.
Who will judge the winners?
Entries will be evaluated in a two-step process. First, a team of young writers will help to categorize and preliminarily evaluate materials. All finalists will then be evaluted by our judging panel, including:
Jennifer Deaton - Ms. Deaton has been the primary script reader for prestige film studio Focus Features for the last fifteen years. Prior to Focus, Jennifer evaluated material for various companies, including those serving talents such as Bill Pullman, Sandra Bullock, Eriq LaSalle and Adam Sandler. Having studied acting and scriptwriting at Northwestern University, Jennifer wrote the feature film JACK OF THE RED HEARTS (starring AnnaSophia Robb and Famke Janssen). She is currently developing episodic series and writing the book for a musical.
More judges to be announced soon
