The kickoff meeting was held to officially launch the STAND-InMSEA project. Stakeholders from Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia were invited and introduced to the concept of CNS-SEA. Discussions were also had to learn the key issues and preferred modes for collaboration among the potential partners.

CNS-MY was soft launched with a knowledge sharing webinar session on starting a blue carbon project given by Prof. Mark Huxham. Stakeholders of blue carbon in Malaysia were invited to be introduced to the CNS-MY network and the event received encouraging participation.
