During my internship at ICPSR, I curated and made social and behavioral research data publicly available using the ICPSR's system for archiving, preserving and making available various types of data. I assessed the deposited material of two research projects by completing a confidentiality review, processing data, completing a quality check process, and finally releasing the study. In order to accomplish these tasks I used Unix, SPSS, SAS, Stata (Study Tracking System), Hermes and Turnover.
As an intern graduate student, I created a strategy and various guidelines schemes and templates to manage information about the University of Michigan's audits and supporting information. This project addressed the classification, availability and searchability of shared information, and involved classifying data, structuring records, reviewing website data, and creating templates for common audit tasks. I made some recommendations for a classification scheme for the Audits Office's shared drive based upon stored records within the Audits Office's automated audit work paper repository.

I analyzed both systems for managing digital research data and documents, ServCat and ScienceBase, keeping in mind federal requirements on preservation and public release of research data collected and/or produced with public funding. I made an analysis of their research data management needs. For the analysis I drew upon interviews to researchers at GLSC, their research data workflows, their metadata management practices, and their both storage and retrieval needs. I provided the Head of the Records Department with some recommendations on research data management. Also, I re-organized physical and electronic storage of science records to match the new case file cradle-to-grave system.

Apart from all the tasks derived from being the manager of the Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) in relation to students and scholars, I created both a classification scheme for both paper and born-digital records of the program, as well as for the PhD program (UIPOT, now IDOCAL). I designed a relational data base for keeping track of the files and records created, received and managed by the UIPOT (now IDOCAL). I created and implemented a classification and storage system for their shared drive. I trained faculty, staff and Phd students at the School of Psychology and Speech Therapy in managing and sharing digital documents. I developed and implemented an online application for the WOP-P program, together with the IT Service of the Universitat de València.

I implemented an archival and records management system, and I arranged hundreds of paper records, which were created and received by the Servei de Prevenció i Medi Ambient since its creation. In order to implement such system, I developed a classification scheme, and designed a data base (with Microsoft Access) so that staff could manage files and records according to archival principles. Furthermore, I trained administrative staff, nurses, doctors and other technicians of the Servei on records management.
