As part of the practical training in the Sound Engineering program, students from the Sound Reinforcement class had the opportunity to handle the setup for the San Pacho 2024 Festival. In this event, I was responsible for microphone setup and the sound reinforcement system as both FOH (Front of House) engineer and monitor engineer. The event featured notable performances, including an inaugural mass with the Franciscan church choir, parades representing the different university programs, a merengue orchestra, and two DJ performances with an announcer.
Continuing with the events from the Sound Reinforcement class, a presentation was held at the San Francisco de Asís Auditorium, where I handled the microphone setup and live sequencing. I served as the FOH engineer and was responsible for the live mixing of the guest bands: Rojo Amelia (pop band) and María Salomé (vallenato orchestra). The event also included short interludes performed by students from the program.
In collaboration with the Digital Lab academy, I worked as the FOH and monitor engineer for an event held at the Teatro Santafé. The event aimed to provide students with a practical live performance experience, featuring bands, DJs, and singers in various performances.
