The INFORMS OU Student Chapter is excited to launch "Career Simplex", a new event series connecting ISE students with alumni pursuing diverse career paths. Each session will provide students with an opportunity to hear directly from an ISE alumnus about their career journey, professional experiences, and insights into their chosen field. The series aims to help students explore different career pathways while strengthening connections between our alumni and the ISE community.

Our first event in this series, "Navigating the Teaching Career", will feature Dr. Deniz Emre, Assistant Teaching Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Missouri and an OU ISE alumnus. The session will focus on the academic teaching career track, including career opportunities, pathways to a faculty position, and the professional responsibilities and experiences associated with a teaching-focused career in academia.
