From Senator Rand Paul:
I would like to cordially invite you to attend my 2026 Virtual Spring Service Academy Information Fair on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM (CST) / 11:00 AM (EST). This event provides students and school faculty valuable information on our nation's outstanding Military Service Academies as well as the Academy Nomination process.
A rewarding aspect of being a United States Senator is the opportunity to nominate young men and women from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky to attend one of our nation's prestigious Military Service Academies, in their pursuit to become a future leader in our armed forces.
To be considered for acceptance to a Service Academy, an applicant must obtain a nomination from one nominating source. The competition for congressional nominations is high; therefore, I encourage applicants to request nominations from their other Members of Congress as well. A nomination does not guarantee acceptance into a Service Academy. Final acceptance into a U.S. Service Academy is made by each respective Academy.
Applicants who wish to obtain a nomination from me should visit my website at www.paul.senate.gov and click on Services and Academy Nominations. The deadline for this year's application is November 15, 2026. The applicant will receive an acknowledgement once their completed application packet is received and reviewed to verify completion. My Academy Board will review all application packets for recommendations in accordance with the respective Academy's standards, and I will make my nominations by the designated deadline of January 31, 2027.
I have attached the 2026 Virtual Spring Service Academy Information Fair flyer. Please RSVP to my State Office in Bowling Green at (270) 782-8303 by Tuesday, April 21, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact my Academy Coordinator, Bonnie Honaker, at (270) 782-8303. I look forward to your attendance at my upcoming Virtual Spring Service Academy Information Fair.
Sincerely,
Rand Paul, M.D.
United States Senator

From Mubea Apprenticeship (see above flyer):
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an exciting opportunity available to your students following high school graduation.
Mubea North America offers three Apprenticeship pathways that students may choose to pursue—either one path or multiple—based on their interests and career goals. I have attached a flyer describing our three pathways to this email. Through our Apprenticeship Program, students are enrolled at Gateway Community and Technical College, where they earn an associate degree that is fully paid for by Mubea. In addition to earning their degree, students are employed with us and are paid while they work and learn.
We welcome students directly after high school graduation (hiring process begins in February and the start date is beginning of August), providing them with a hands-on, debt-free pathway into a skilled career while gaining real-world experience in a professional manufacturing environment.
We would love the opportunity to host your students for a visit to our facility so they can see firsthand what our Apprenticeship Program has to offer. I would also be more than happy to visit your school to present the program to students, counselors, and staff and answer any questions they may have. Please let me know what works best for you and we can schedule a time.
Thank you for all you do to support your students as they prepare for life after high school. Please feel free to reach out if you would like more information or would like to schedule a visit or presentation.

From Ball State University:
I am writing to share information about Ball State University’s Interior Design Summer Workshop, a pre-college program designed for high school students who are exploring interior design, architecture, or related creative fields. This program offers students an authentic college-level experience, enabling them to determine whether interior design is a suitable academic and career fit. We offer both on-campus residential sessions and a fully online option, making the workshop accessible to students nationwide.
During the workshop, students are introduced to the fundamentals of interior design through hands-on activities and guided instruction. They learn basic drawing and visualization skills, explore color and lighting, and gain insight into how interior environments influence human behavior. Additionally, students start developing their portfolio work, a crucial component for future college applications, scholarships, and program admissions.
We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing the attached flyer with students and parents who may be interested. Additional details, session dates, and application information are available at bsu.edu/designforum.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you have questions or would like more information about the program.
Thank you for supporting students as they explore their academic and career paths.

From Enzweiler Building Institute:
Hello,
We are excited to share an important update on our school and are hoping you can help spread the word! This September we had 17 HS seniors enroll in post-graduate Registered Apprenticeship Program. This was an extremely impressive number considering we only had a 2-week turnaround time before the start of class. Due to the success, we are excited to announce that we have around 30 more scholarship for HS seniors to start year one in our January term. Students who start in January would go until the first week of July. They would then be able to start year 2 in September with everyone else, never missing a beat. As we mentioned before, this unique opportunity allows students to get a full year ahead in their career training, giving them a significant advantage after graduation.
Students who enroll as seniors will begin working toward certifications and trade skills before finishing high school, positioning them to enter the workforce or advanced training programs earlier than their peers.
We offer training in six high-demand skilled trades:
Trades Offered:
Carpentry (2-year program)
Electric (4-year program)
Facilities Maintenance & Remodeling (2-year program)
Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) (2-year program)
Plumbing (2-year program)
Welding (2-year program)
Program Schedule:
26 weeks per year (January through early July)
2 nights per week (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
Program Advantages:
Journeyman Licensing Pathway – HVAC, plumbing, and electric programs are designed to put students on track for their journeyman license.
Industry Certifications for All Trades – Every graduate earns:
CPR Certification
OSHA-10 Safety Certification
Our instructors are experienced industry professionals who teach through hands-on, real-world projects in fully equipped training labs. The best part is there is an opportunity for these seniors to receive full scholarships to cover year 1 tuition. Those HS seniors in the River City School District are eligible for free tuition. However, there is also partial to full scholarships available to students from surrounding districts as well.
Again, thank you all so much for spreading the word regarding the unique opportunity.

From the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association):
Do your student-athletes know the requirements to be eligible to compete at a Division I or II school? It takes more than athletic talent!
Do your students understand their NCAA GPA is based on core courses only? The NCAA Eligibility Center calculates your students' core-course grade-point average based only on the grades they earn in NCAA-approved core courses.
Division I requires a minimum 2.3 core GPA.
Division II requires a minimum 2.2 core GPA.
Do your students know the requirements to be eligible to compete? For Divisions I and II, your students must complete a total of 16 NCAA-approved core courses to be eligible to play their sport at the collegiate level. Click here for a resource you can share with your students to help ensure they are on track with these core-course requirements.
Are your students being recruited by Division I schools? To study and compete at a Division I school, your student-athletes must complete 10 of their 16 core courses (including seven in English, math or science) before the start of their seventh semester. (Solely international student-athletes don't have this requirement.) Click here for Division II requirements.
Division III schools determine their own eligibility. Students should speak with the compliance office at the Division III school recruiting them for additional information.
The Eligibility Center recently hosted a webinar specifically for student-athletes and their families. This one-hour presentation is a great resource to help assist your athletes as they pursue their dreams.
Click here to watch the recording.
The Eligibility Center is hosting a separate webinar for homeschooled college-bound student-athletes and their families on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Please share this message with your athletes and encourage them to attend this important event.
