I was terrified, I had never been chased by a dog in my entire life. Mom had warned me never to go out of the house at night, she said it was too dangerous, she wouldn't say why it was too dangerous for me but not for her or even my little brother Eddie. I knew it was related to my abnormal uniqueness, I knew because mom would always rush me into my room when we had even the most insignificant visitor at night, I knew she was trying to hide me but I could only guess why, i was born this way, she said she was trying to keep me safe.

You see, I really glow blue at night, I think it should be a wonderful thing to show the world or at least my friends, I see it as my uniqueness but mom doesn't, she looks at a radiating blue me and only sees an endangered specie. I understand..... See more...

I was afraid and speechless, I looked outside the window to see if anyone had thrown it in, but there was no one out there, I moved closer to the medallion, and Bent down to pick it up, my door bashed open, I was afraid because I knew my mum locked the door before leaving, I jumped back to my bed shaking vigorously, “what, did you do this time,” I heard my mum's voice say, I was relieved at least it wasn't a ghost as I earlier presumed.
