The Dragonfly was the third and final Deep Sky Celestial Cruiser to be built, and it was by far the largest: 1470 metres in length, wingspan 850m with an integral biodome (Life Level) 170m in diameter. The majority of the hull is composed of taenite, an iron-nickel alloy common in asteroids (from where it was largely sourced), with titanium-H6 and stellite (cobalt-chromium) parapolymers.
The Æsynja Empire is the largest and most powerful taransker culture. This Empire has been at war with the Joint Defence Campaign – the United Worlds Accord and its allies - since 3097.
