Anastasios Xepapadeas is Professor of Economics at Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of International and European Economic Studies, and at University of Bologna, Department of Economics. Between 1994 and 2007 he served as Professor of Economics at University of Crete. In 2018 he was elected as foreign associate at the US National Academy of Sciences. He is past president of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economics and past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Beijer Institute of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Professor Xepapadeas is currently co-editor of Environmental and Resource Economics and member of the editorial board of: Annual Review of Resource Economics, Environment and Development Economics, Review of Environmental Economics and Policy, Environmental Economics and Policy Studies and Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics. He published in leading journals as: American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics & Control, European Economic Review, Environmental & Resource Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics & Management, Science.
