I am a PhD student in Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Antwerp. My research interests lie in the field of applied microeconomics, with a focus on labour economics and econometrics. I am mainly interested in issues related to migration and health economics. My PhD research focusses on the interplay between large, unexpected events, international migration patterns, and political attitudes. My supervisors are prof. Sunčica Vujić and prof. Joanna Clifton-Sprigg. My PhD committee further consists of prof. Jonathan Portes (external) and prof. Koen Decanq (chair).
