Welcome to INERTIA.

INERTIA education is a group of academics, teachers, policy makers, students and musicians who believe in the power of progressive music education. Led by co-founders Rhiannon Simpson and BJ Humphrey, the team aims to make academic writing more accessible for those who have felt excluded from the academic field. We summarise academic publications, get rid of the esoteric language, and boil things down to 1) what is important and 2) what is useful.
