What is Philanthropy?

In a sorority, philanthropy refers to the organized activities and efforts that are taken on by members to support charitable causes and give back to their communities. This is often done through fundraising, volunteering, awareness campaigns, and community service! It is defined as giving the gifts of "time, talent, and treasure" to help make life better for other people. It is truly wonderful to be a part of something bigger than ourselves!
