The aim of the 4-day workshop, attended by adult learners from each partner organisation, was to develop participants' intercultural competences by discovering the cultural conditions of the host country (monuments, music, dance, cuisine, customs) and improving digital competences through the use of applications and instant messengers.
As part of the InDiSo project, we are organizing educational courses for adults aimed at strengthening key competences needed in today’s dynamic labour market.
Our goal is to expand practical skills, build self-confidence, and increase employability through accessible, hands-on education.
Main areas of the courses:
Microsoft Word & Excel
Practical digital skills that can be applied daily in both professional and personal life.
How to Sell Yourself
Learning how to identify and present personal strengths, communicate value, and stand out to potential employers.
Presentation & Communication Skills
Developing confident verbal expression, effective communication, and presentation abilities for work and everyday situations.
Social Media, Canva & CapCut
Hands-on content creation and practical use of modern digital tools for personal branding and professional purposes.
Virtual Office
Understanding digital work environments, online collaboration tools, and effective remote communication.
The courses are designed to be practical, supportive, and directly applicable, helping participants gain confidence and transferable skills that can be immediately used in real-life settings.
Local activities involving seniors from the Senior Competence Centre are a key element of the project. They respond to the identified needs of the group and translate into real changes in the local community.
The main objectives of local activities at the PCKK Foundation are:
developing digital competences enabling active and safe use of technology in everyday life,
strengthening intercultural and social competences that promote integration, dialogue and counteract stereotypes,
developing civic competences,
counteracting social isolation through education and relationship building in learning groups.
Local activities are based on the concept of Digital Age-Friendly Learning Communities (DAFLC), which involves the natural integration of technology into the learning process for senior citizens, the creation and sharing of digital educational materials, and support for participants outside of classroom activities.
The trainer training (LTTA) held in Gondomar, Portugal, on 7–9 May 2025 was aimed at trainers and educators from partner organisations.
The aim of LTTA was:
improving the digital competences of trainers in the use of information and communication technologies in non-formal adult education,
preparing staff to implement the concept of Digital Age-Friendly Learning Communities (DAFLC) in their work with adults, particularly senior citizens and migrants,
developing the ability to create and share digital educational resources tailored to the needs of people aged 50+,
deepening knowledge in the field of copyright and digital content licensing,
enhancing trainers' ability to use technology when working with culturally and socially diverse groups.
On 25–27 March 2025, an international meeting of the InDiSo project was held in Jelenia Góra with the participation of partner organisations. The programme included a presentation of the project and partners, joint work on the action plan, and discussion of financial, communication and evaluation issues.
On the second day, participants observed workshops conducted at the Senior Competence Centre and exchanged experiences on adult and senior education, including the use of digital tools. The meeting was also an opportunity to talk to representatives of local Senior Councils.
On the third day, the partners shared their experiences of implementing Erasmus+ projects in the field of adult education. The meeting ended with a summary, evaluation and presentation of certificates to the participants.
