Culture, Horses, Land and Living Knowledge
Engaging cultural learning for schools, organizations and community events. Our workshops include Powwow Showcases, Indigenous Games, Hide Tanning, Tipi and Fire Teachings, Elder Storytime and Horse Communication.
Programs can be adapted for children, youth, adults, staff teams and large audiences.
Led by Johnathan and Anna Adams, Indigenous Reclaim Services brings together horsemanship, cultural education, traditional skills, program development and land-based learning.
Johnathan’s teachings are grounded in his Assiniboine Sioux upbringing, family knowledge and lifelong relationship with horses. Anna brings more than 25 years of experience in weaving, cultural arts education, historic interpretation and community program development.
We also work with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, artists, singers, dancers and community partners to provide meaningful learning guided by proper cultural protocol.
Wihnemne Horse Tribe brings together authentic Indigenous riders, experienced horsemen and women, young riders learning from those before them, and generations of horsemanship carried forward.
We offer Indigenous riders, horses, wrangling, horse handling, cultural settings, tipis, horsemanship coaching and production support for film, television, documentary and cultural productions.
We are building toward a bookable Indigenous cultural experience at Wihnemne, Wabamun Lake, where visitors can connect with horses, traditional food, art, story and the land.
The first phase will offer guided cultural experiences featuring tipi and fire teachings, bannock, berries and tea, conversations with artists and Knowledge Keepers, Indigenous horse communication and optional trail riding.
Our long-term vision is a four-season Indigenous cultural village that supports cultural continuity, tourism, employment and opportunities for future generations.
Our approach begins with relationship. We teach people to understand how horses communicate through movement, energy, boundaries and trust.
Services include horse communication workshops, relationship-based training, consultations, owner coaching, youth mentorship and community horsemanship programs.
Our riders bring real horsemanship, real horses and a living connection between people, culture and the land.
We are developing a professional portfolio of Indigenous riders and horses available for film, television, documentary, photography and cultural production opportunities.
Our Horses. Our People. Our Stories.
Indigenous Reclaim Services is an Indigenous-owned family business offering cultural workshops, relationship-based horsemanship and production services rooted in family teachings, lived experience and connection to the land.
We bring cultural learning to life through story, demonstration, participation and respectful relationship.
