Guided by local Elders who share land stories, cultural protocols, and stewardship practices for respecting sacred places.
A youth-friendly circle with drumming, dance introductions, and teachings on regalia and etiquette that invite everyone to participate respectfully.
Hands-on field-to-table learning, respectful harvesting and deer processing, plus simple outdoor cooking and sharing protocols.
We collaborate with youth, conservation, and community partners to make land-based learning accessible. Past partnerships include Junior Forest Wardens , Junior Forest Rangers, Alberta Conservation Association supported camps, local schools and community groups. We also work with Elders and knowledge keepers to align programs with cultural protocols and community goals.
We are an Indigenous-led team offering two streams of service: cultural programming and earthworks. On the cultural side, we provide Elder-guided traditional skills such as Mini Pow Wow introductions, respectful harvesting and foods, deer processing, teepee setup, hide tanning, leatherwork, and outdoor skills.
