The Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad Program provides opportunities for overseas experience. The program is open to educators and administrators with responsibilities for curriculum development in fields related to humanities, languages, and area studies. Topics and host countries vary each year. The program is geared towards those educators with little or no experience in the host country(ies) who demonstrate the need to develop and enhance their curriculum through short-term study and travel abroad. This $7,500 scholarship supports students between 15 and 16 yrs. 11 months old to spend 4 weeks in France during the summer of 2024. No minimum French requirement, but teacher nominator must be a member of AATF.

This scholarship is made possible by the generosity of Peggie's children who are AFS returnees to honor her legacy. This is a merit and need-based scholarship for students interested in studying abroad for a year or semester.
The Keith A. Voigt Study Abroad Scholarship was established for the 2020-2021 year, to honor the life and legacy of Keith Arthur Voigt, an AFS Returnee from Ohio who studied abroad in Bogota, Colombia in 1975-1976.
This scholarship is designed to help students develop a deep understanding of the Japanese culture during a study abroad experience. This scholarship covers the full program cost and is merit-based. Click here for more information.
