The Global Learning Advisory Council (GLAC) was formed in the spring of 2016 in partnership with the Indiana Department of Education. The core founders consisted of approximately 15 Hoosier educators that supported international education and improved global competency among schools and educators. Now, after some transition, the GLAC still serves to promote global education initiatives and includes educators from many content areas, many grade levels and from all over Indiana.

Network with like-minded colleagues
Assist with needs assessment for world language, dual language, global learning
Present/Lead/Model best practices in the field
Advocate/Support Intercultural/Global Learning initiatives
